The Dayo Dental service is a small Phoenix startup company that says it provides “Safe, Affordable, Superior Dentistry in Mexico” with “A high-quality network of carefully selected Mexican Dentists” and that they are “A US company that facilitates dental treatments in Mexico.” Sounds great, but read their 3 pages of Day Dental “Terms and Conditions to Use their Service.”

Basically, Dayo started up to take advantage of the US citizens seeking affordable health and dental care in Mexico. They have a very modest travel fee for the round trip van ride  between Phoenix and Los Algodones of $35 to $45. Where they make their money is from the doctor or dentist in a referral or facilitation fee. They also advertise services in Nogales and Rocky Point. So far, the internet stories say they only make a trip twice a month with an average of 7 patients, they must charge the doctors a lot of money to keep in business.

There are a several problems with their system:

1.  Their referrals are based on their ability to get paid by the dentist or doctor that they recommend, not necessarily the best available for your specific needs.

2. They choose the dentist or physician and do not give you any information about them to let you do any research on the provider.

3.  You do not have any contact information before you make the trip to ask questions about your specific needs or an estimate of the costs and/or the time involved for treatment. Most doctors in this website are happy to review any information or x-rays that you have before scheduling an appointment.

4. You do not have the ability to talk with several providers to get different opinions and prices for their services.

5. Although they refer patients and take referral fees, they specifically do not warrant the services provided.

Directories like the Nogales Doctors and Dentists Directory are set up as a resource and communication tool to aid the reader in making an informed decision as to the best dental and health care for their specific needs. The Nogales Directory does not charge for services rendered, only a small fee for web page design and maintenance, in fact, the Directory does not even know if contact was made between the Website visitor and the doctor or dentist.
