Since the middle of December, 2008 there has
not been any reports on drug cartel violence in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico,
Tourist areas, according the Arizona Daily Star, are still safe. Please

There has been some crime and homicides in
Nogales, but they are in the outside areas and the
violent clashes are between the cartel factions or the cartel members and
the police.
There has not been any of the violent crime in the Tourist
District areas where the doctors have their offices.
The Mayor of Nogales, José Angel Hernández Barajas, has brought together the municipal police, State police and the Mexican Army troupes into a cohesive force that is subduing the cartel violence.

There is much more crime and violence in major cities in the USA than in
Nogales, Sonora, Mexico!
