Dr. Jose L. Covarrubias graduated in 1983 from the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico with his Doctorate in Medicine. Dr. Covarrubias completed his graduate work in the medical specialty of Cosmetic Surgery and practiced at the Dalinde Centro Médico, Division of Plastic Surgery working under the renown Dr. Mario Gonzalez Ulloa. Dr. Gonzalez was the founder of the Dalinde Centro Médico, author and leading authority in Cosmetic Surgery. 

Dr. Covarrubias is now a leader in the field of Cosmetic Surgery and is up-to-date on all the latest techniques and procedures. He attends and participates in 3 to 4 conferences and seminars annually. His extensive library of before and after photos of all his procedures attests to his skill as a leading cosmetic surgeon.

Dr. Covarrubias gained valuable experience working at the General Hospital and the Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Ensenada, Baja California, MX through 1996. Moving to Nogales he continued his practice at the Hospital Santa Teresa in Nogales, Sonora, before opening his private practice, the San Angel Clinic, in 2000. The doctor is married to his lovely wife, Annabelle and they live in Nogales, Arizona with their beautiful daughter, Danielle.  In his limited free time he enjoys his very successful hobby of breeding, training and showing his German Shepard show dogs. His dogs are very successful in winning the top awards all over the United States.

Dr. Jorge Olivares E. is a visiting Cosmetic Surgeon from Mexico City, Mexico that is available to the San Angel Clinic when needed for their patients and for the convenience of his own patients. 

Dr. Olivares is currently a professor at the Universidad La Salle, in Mexico City. He has a private clinic in Mexico City and currently is an associate with the San Angel Clinic in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico.  Dr. Olivares is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, founding member of the International Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Inc., St. Louis, Missouri, a Fellow of the International College of Surgeon as well as many other Mexican and International organizations.

Dr. Olivares (or Dr. Joe, as his patients call him,) speaks and writes in English. 

Practice:

The San Angel Clinic is located on a quiet side street about a block West of the School plaza park, the small front deceptively hides the true size of this clinic. The newly remodeled building houses a comfortable receptions area, two offices, 2 examination rooms a complete, state of the art, operating room and 3 overnight patient rooms.  

The clinic is staffed with the Doctor, a surgical nurse, operating assistant, night nurse, and several clinic assistants and a clinic administrator. This clinic rivals any in the US for being modern, up-to-date and in an absolutely sterile state at all times. 

The staff greets the patients and helps them prepare for the doctor's examination. The doctor examines the patient and sits down with them to go over the available options to get their perfect body. A plan is agreed upon and the procedure is scheduled for the patient's convenience. 

The procedures are completed with a complete staff on hand to insure that all is done well in a timely manner. The operating room is equipped with the latest modern operating room equipment in a super sterilized atmosphere.

All patients having any surgical procedure are kept overnight in our comfortable patient  rooms. The patients are monitored and attended to by a trained registered nurse around the clock.

Meals are catered by a local restaurant.

Abdominoplasty Tummy Tuck:
