Dr. Jose Angel Dominguez Gastelum, M.D., studied medicine in “Universidad Autonoma de Baja California” (UABC) in Mexicali, from 1996 to 2003 and specialized in otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) in “Hospital General del Estado de Sonora”, located in Hermosillo, capital of the State of Sonora; from 2004 to 2008. since then doing private and public practice.

He moved to Nogales, Sonora in 2009 and started working in “Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social”(IMSS) and has his private office in  Endomedica clinic, located in San Martin 840, Colonia Fundo Legal.

The Doctor was certificated by the Mexican Council of Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery in 2008 and is an active member. He is also member of the Sonora's Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Association. Dr. Dominguez attends and participates in 2 or 3 conferences a year in Mexico and the United States to keep updated in the medical and technical advances.

Dr. Dominguez lives in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico with his beautiful wife and lovely 3 year old daughter. His daughter is practicing to become a surgeon like her father, you will see the great picture in his office.

Practice:

Dr. Dominguez's office is located in the Endomedica Clinic on the second floor. Please see photos of the clinic at this link: Endomedica. The doctor's large, well organized office is well equipped diagnostic equipment to help him diagnosis and explain treatments or surgery plans. The doctor also has a complete laboratory and radiology/ultrasound departments at the clinic to further aid him in determining a patient's problems and treatment.

The doctor speaks fluent English (and, of course Spanish) so you will easily understand the diagnosis and recommended treatment.

Dr. Dominguez performs micro surgery of the ear, aesthetic and functional nose surgery, minimum invasive endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, larynx microsurgery, among others. Please see the pictures of the doctor, a patient and graphics to help explain the surgical procedures:

If you have nose, ear, throat, larynx or dizziness problems, Dr. Dominguez is the doctor to consult with, and should you need surgery, the hospital meets all USA standards, but the costs are about 1/3 of the cost in the United States.
