Dra. Yolanda
Arronte de Amador graduated from the
Autonoma
University of
Mexico. She has continued her education through the Dental
Associations continuing education program. She has been a practicing
Dentist for over 44 years.
Every year Dra. Amador sets aside at least 2 1-week periods each year to participate in dental conferences and seminars, usually in the United States to keep abreast of the improvements in equipment and dental techniques.
The doctor likes spend her her limited spare time and holidays with her daughter and grandchildren in Tucson. She also enjoys the shopping at the large malls. Dra. Amador lives in Tucson and makes the hour commute every day.
Practice:
The Amador Dental Office has been at the same location for 25 years, serving
dental patients from
both sides of the border. Dra. Amador has a very modern, but
small office that serves one patient at a time. Her full time Dental
Assistant, Rosie, trained and worked in the Tucson area before moving
back to her home town of Nogales, Sonora.
Dra. Amador prides herself in providing the latest in General Dentistry services and in having her own personal network of Dental Specialists when her patients have special needs.
The examination/treatment room is bright and cheerful with balcony that over looks the adjacent buildings and brings the day into the room.
Dra. Amador's office is located in the 86 Campillo Building, the largest dental complex in Nogales. It has all the dental services in one location and the only dental office with an elevator.

Chronic Gingivitis:
The
most common complaint is bleeding gums. The patient usually notices
this when brushing teeth or flossing. Bleeding may be associated with
eating, especially foods with a hard consistency, such as apples or
crusted bread. These foods may rub against gums.
Acute Necrotizing Ulcerative Gingivitis (ANUG) Apparently spontaneous bleeding or bleeding in response to very minimal local trauma may occur. ANUG also may produce local pain, malaise, and alterations in taste, such as a metallic flavor. ANUG may produce foul breath.
Dra. Amador is very experienced in this specialty and will give you a complete examination and a recommendation for treatment and prevention.
