Dra. Stephany Quintero y De León graduated from the Medicine School in Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The doctor did her Internship in Hospital General Del Estado de Sonora in Hermosillo, Sonora, and did her required Social Service at the General Hospital Nogales, Sonora.

Dra. Quintero continued her education with a post graduate degree in her Specialty of Ophthalmology at the Associacion Para Evitar la Ceguera en Mexico Hospital, under Dr. Luis Sanchez Bulnes guidance, in Mexico City, Mexico. Upon completion of her post graduate degree in Ophthalmology the doctor did a year of Fellowship in the same hospital in Cornea, External Eye Diseases and Refractive Surgery. The doctor was able to learn and practice the latest procedures using the state of art Ophthalmology equipment.

The doctor started her career early as an assistant to her father, the prominent Ophthalmologist, Dr. Rigoberto Quintero Chavez. As a little girl she always wanted to be a doctor and was at her father's side learning all she could about Ophthalmology from about age 4. Upon completion of her extensive formal educational pursuits, and earning her Doctorate, she joined her father's clinic and, just recently, took over the practice.
